Never Heard of It

Review by Ashley-Kiana

Never Heard of ItNever Heard of It, otherwise known as NHOI, is a local Covina band now on the road with all the other Warped Tour bands. While listening to the album, my thoughts on the band's second full length from 2000, "Limited Edition": When can I take this CD out of my CD player?! How many more songs until this is done?

Let me be truthful. The only reason I put myself through this misery of listening to the rest of "Limited Edition" was to honestly review this CD.

Now close your eyes. Picture the epitome of four Southern California boys (back then there was four now there are five). A typical pop punk band selling out Glass House and Chain Reaction shows with bands like Rudiger and Name Taken. NHOI sometimes reminds me of New Found Glory but I believe NFG is at least ten times better.

Oh I have now hit track five. This could give me a new outlook on the CD. Track five is a revision of "Build Me Up", the old "fill me up buttercup"
song. I can't decide if this makes the CD better or worst. Aren't there copyright laws against this? There were no credits to the original song on the CD. Oh well. Don't buy the CD. I'm still waiting for it to stop or to break.
